Brazi Bites Gluten-Free Taco Pie

Bursting with flavor from the Cheese Bread crust, this cheesy and meaty taco pie by Mama Knows Gluten Free will become one of your family’s favorites!

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 2 T cumin
  • 1 T onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons of oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 oz can of black olives (optional)
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag of Cheddar and Parmesan Cheese Bread
  • Your favorite taco fixings (ex: lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro and avocados)

    Before cooking, take Cheese Bread out of the freezer to thaw and become soft.

    Preheat oven to 400F.

    Add all of the seasonings to a small bowl and stir to combine.

    Spray a large pan with cooking spray, add the ground beef and cook over medium heat.

    As the beef is cooking add the taco seasoning blend to the meat and stir until fully combined. Add black olives to the seasoned meat, if desired. Drain the beef once it is fully cooked.

    Spray a 9 inch glass pie pan with cooking spray.

    On a piece of parchment paper, knead the bites together until they form a large dough ball.

    Press the bites dough ball into the glass pie pan, pressing all the way up the sides to form a pie crust. Lightly poke holes in the bottom of the crust with a fork.

    Add beef mixture to glass pie pan and then add cheese on top.

    Bake for 15 minutes. The sides of the crust will be light golden brown when it is done.

    Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

    Top with your favorite taco fixings.
