Gluten-Free Ham and Cheese Puffs

Say hello to Gluten-Free Ham and Cheese Puffs! These snack-able Brazi Bites puffs are the perfect way to enjoy cheesy deliciousness in each and every bite.

  • 2 Bags of Cheddar & Parmesan Cheese Bread(thawed)
  • ½ C chopped cooked ham
  • 1 C fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ C shredded cheddar cheese (additional for garnish, optional)
  • ½ C shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Pinch of dried thyme or italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

    Preheat the oven to 40O°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray.

    In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

    Add the chopped spinach to the pan and cook until wilted, about 1-2 minutes. Add chopped ham and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly browned.

    Now, directly in the pan with the cooked ham and spinach, add the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, thyme (or Italian seasoning), Dijon mustard (if using), and a pinch of black pepper.

    Carefully roll out Brazi Bites, creating a small square of cheese bread.

    Place a spoonful of the ham, spinach, and cheese mixture in the center of each Brazi Bite square.

    Brush the tops of the folded Brazi Bites with the beaten egg.

    Arrange the filled Brazi Bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them for puffing.

    Sprinkle with additional shredded cheese for extra melty goodness.

    Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
