Ingredients

  • 6 Pieces Brazi Bites Cheddar & Parmesan Cheese Bread
  • 2 Ripe Plantains
  • Frying Oil
  • 2 C Ground Beef
  • 1 Tbsp Loisa Sofrito
  • 1 Tsp Loisa Organic Adobo
  • 1/2 Tsp Loisa Organic Sazón
  • 2 Manzanilla Olives, chopped
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 C Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Cilantro, chopped
  1. 1

Peel plantain and slice thinly lengthwise to create 6 long plantain slices.

  2. 2

Heat frying oil in a pan over low to medium heat and add the plantain slices to the pan. Cook until golden brown, then drain on a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.

  3. 3

In a pan, add ground beef, Sofrito, Adobo, Sazón, and chopped olives. Cook until the beef is browned and set aside.

  4. 4

Using a muffin tin, roll the plantain slices around the muffin tins to create a cup shape. Place a Cheddar & Parmesan Cheese Bread at the center of each tin and add a layer of beef picadillo. Pour the egg mixture over each cup and add a layer of cheese.

  5. 5

Bake in the oven at 400°F for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool, and garnish with chopped cilantro.
