Availability by region may vary. Costco has a “rotation” business model where products often come in and out and assortment changes constantly. As of 2024, you can find Brazi Bites year-round in the Southeast, Texas, Eastern and Western Canada regions. Please visit our store locator to find all stores near you. Brazi Bites products are shipped with dry ice. Once your order arrives, please transfer your Brazi Bites to your freezer.

Orders usually ship the next day and arrive within 2 days of shipping. Primary Shipping Days are Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

Your order ships frozen in an insulated cooler with dry ice to ensure it arrives fresh. Shipping occurs within 5 business days of purchase, primarily on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

We accept payments from PayPal, Apple Pay and all major credit cards.

Pão de queijo, or “cheese bread” in Portuguese, is a staple in Brazil and throughout South America. It’s a delightful snack made with tapioca flour, which makes it naturally gluten-free. In Brazil, it is enjoyed all hours of the day, particularly during breakfast and family gatherings. Brazi Bites Brazilian Cheese Bread is based on our family’s recipe from Brazil and uses the perfect blend of only the finest hand-picked ingredients – like fresh cheese, eggs and milk – with absolutely nothing artificial. “Pão de Queijo” means cheese bread in Portuguese and it is pronounced “pown-deh-kay-zho”.

All of our products are sold frozen and ready-to-bake. No prep or mixing required. They go straight from the freezer to the oven and are ready to enjoy in minutes.

Yes, you can absolutely enjoy all of our products cold. Since they will be freshly baked and contain no preservatives, they will be extra delicious enjoyed warm and within a few hours after baking.

It’s OK for the bites to thaw, but the temperature would have to stay below 41 degrees to be safe for consumption.

Yes, all Brazi Bites products are Certified Gluten Free.

Yes all Brazi Bites products are nut free. However Brazi Bites are made in facilities that process nuts and tree nuts.

All of our cheeses except asiago use vegetable rennet. If you are looking to avoid traditional animal rennet, we recommend avoiding the Garlic Asiago Brazilian Cheese Bread and trying any other delicious flavors in our line-up.

Tapioca flour comes from the yuca root, and is also sometimes called cassava or mantioc flour. Check out our blog post on tapioca flour to learn more: Learn More .

A dairy-free/vegan version is on our radar. Authentic pão de queijo, which is also used in our Empanadas, calls for milk, eggs, and cheese — so should we move forward with developing this product, we’ll work hard to find the right substitutions.

Minas cheese is very difficult to source in the United States, so our co-founders Junea & Cameron experimented with different combinations of cheeses to capture the authentic flavor and texture of pão de queijo. Our Cheddar & Parmesan is the result of their experimentation and the most traditional flavor in our Brazilian cheese bread line. You can read more about our story here: Our Story

Brazi Bites waffles can be quickly heated in the toaster or oven.  Toaster instructions: heat frozen waffles in lowest heat setting and repeat as needed to heat completely. Oven instructions: preheat oven to 400°F. Please frozen waffles on baking sheet and heat for 6-8 minutes or until hot.

Our bread uses only natural ingredients with no preservatives or artificial additives. Because of this, some slight variations in size are expected. Some are fluffier than others because of the natural moisture content in the tapioca flour. But no matter the size, they should all be cheesy and delicious!

Let the bites thaw for 5-10 minutes or until they are soft enough to easily split apart.

Our Brazilian Cheese Bread is made with tapioca flour, which gives the dough a natural gooey quality even when cooked. This crispy, golden brown crust and soft inside is what has made Brazilian Cheese Bread (pão de queijo) beloved around the world, but we know the distinct texture is not for everyone. To achieve a firmer bread, you could try reducing the baking temperature by 25-50 degrees and extending the bake time by 5-10 minutes. You may also find the texture more to your liking once the product has had a chance to cool down.

We recommend partially baking the Brazilian Cheese Bread at home (approximately 75%), letting the dough cool, then finishing up (25%) at your destination. If that’s not an option, you could fully bake your cheese bread at home then gently warm them upon arrival. If heating at your destination simply isn’t an option, that’s OK! Wrap the baked bites in linens to trap the moisture and store in a thermal bag if available.

We do not recommend cooking our products in a microwave. The dough will not rise properly, and you’ll likely be disappointed in the end result!

Yes! You can use an air fryer to cook delicious Brazi Bites Cheese Bread and Empanadas in 15 minutes or under. Our products go straight from the freezer to the oven and take about 20 minutes to bake in a convectional oven and 15 minutes in the air fryer. Our Waffles take about 1-2 minutes in the toaster depending on your toasting preference.
