MINI CARNE ASADA TORTAS

*plus 1 hour for refrigeration

Seasoned steak and fresh guacamole perfectly paired with Brazilian Cheese Bread… MAJOR YUM! Add this one to your mini-sandwich repertoire, folks.

INGREDIENTS

• 12 Cheddar Parmesan pieces
• 1/2 lb skirt steak
• 2 limes
• 1/2 ts salt
• 1 avocado
• 1/4 red onion
• 1/2 jalapeño
• 1 garlic clove

INSTRUCTIONS

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°

STEP 1
Make Brazilian Cheese Bread based on package instructions.

STEP 2
Mince garlic and combine with skirt steak, salt, and juice from 1.5 limes. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.

STEP 3
Remove steak from refrigerator. Cover a sheet pan with foil and broil steak for 3 – 5 minutes on each side. Chop steak.

STEP 4
Chop red onion and jalapeño and combine with diced avocado and juice from 1/2 a lime. Mash together with a fork.

STEP 5
Cut Brazi Bites in half and stuff with steak and guacamole.
