Last night at the Portland Business Journal Small Business and Innovation Awards, Brazi Bites was named a 2015 Honoree. We are honored and grateful to receive this recognition along with many other fantastic local small businesses.

Starting a small business is tough, and the landscape is always changing, but with the support of the Portland community we have been able navigate through the sometimes choppy seas of entrepreneurship and come out stronger and ready to face anything the future holds.

The award ceremony was festive and fun with music from The Earnest Lovers, wine from Stoller Family Estates, and innovative local products to explore – including fresh baked Brazi Bites of course.

As companies were called up and awards handed out, we were suddenly surprised to hear the speaker describing South America’s favorite snack… wait a second, that’s Brazi Bites! They called out ‘Junea Rocha, founder of Brazi Bites’ and the crowd went wild, as they had been all night for the delicious cheese bread we served up.

It was a wonderful night here in Portland and a great honor to receive this award. Congratulations to all of the amazing winners and keep innovating!
